- First aid for guests and staff
- Risk management, hazard prevention and marking
- Inspect all first aid equipment prior to daily operations
- Ensure all paperwork is checked and completed. Prompt, accurate and complete report forms
- Maintenance of Ski Patrol Equipment and facilities
- Assist in search and rescue
- Weather observation and reporting
- Mountain duties
- Education and Enforcement of PMASS policies and Alpine Responsibility Code
- Public relations
- Participate in morning and evening sweeps
- Participate in any search and rescue operations
Specific Skills Required:
- Occupational First Aid level III
- Strong alpine skier/boarder in all snow terrain and conditions
- Strong toboggan handling and teaching skills (will Train)
- Elevated level of fitness and able to work in all weather conditions
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Previous ski hill experiences an asset
Terms of Employment:
Full-time seasonal - wage negotiable based on experience/responsibilities
