SVCCS is accepting resumes, to start immediately, for position of confidential secretary/office support, bookkeeping/accounts payable/receivable, payroll (QuickBooks) and general office duties.

With a breakdown of 50% secretarial focus and 50% accounting you will utilize your secretarial management and organizational skills.  Your roll will include answering phone calls and reception.   You will provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, Staff and adhoc duties as requested.

This is a non-union position.

 $16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

35 hours per week with some flexibility

Specific Skills Required: 

Quick Books and basic bookkeeping knowledge.

Knowledge or experience with nonprofit agencies or childcare operations.

General office experience; enthusiasm and aptitude to learn new systems; a proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel; oral and written communication skills.

 Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; have a friendly and professional telephone manner; possess problem-solving skills and be willing to learn overall procedures related to child care operations.

Willing to train the right person.
