The BC Rural Secretariat is provincially funded and aims to improve the quality of life in rural communities by equipping them to build strong, competitive economies that support sustainable and socially responsible initiatives such as the Communities First Agreement.
City of Grand Forks
Community Futures Boundary and the City of Grand Forks have worked collaboratively on many projects since 1993.
Grand Forks Credit Union
The Grand Forks and District Credit Union partners with Community Futures Boundary on community development initiatives such as the Boundary Communities regional Chamber of Commerce, contributing $30,000 to the Initiative.

Invest Kootenay
Invest Kootenay works in partnership with several communities across the Kootenay Boundary region working to attract, retain and expand investment.
RDKB and the Boundary Economic Development Committee (BEDC)
The regional District of the Kootenay Boundary and Community Futures Boundary developed a partnership to support the BEDC. With key representatives from the Regional District and Community Futures Boundary, the BEDC´s focus is on helping to foster sustainable economic development in the Boundary Region.

West Kootenay - Boundary “Welcoming Communities Partnership”
Welcomemap aims to support the development and stewardship of the region to attract, welcome, engage and retain Newcomers.
Workforce Innovation Council
The aim of this partnership is to engage the business community in a proactive process for identifying and dealing with labour force challenges and, most importantly, to enlist the small business community in helping to develop and implement solutions to the problems they face recruiting and retaining skilled workers.
